Our Leadership

Within the War College there are a few levels of leadership. There is the overall leadership of The War College ministry. Then each campus – Vancouver and Chicago – have their own set of Permanent, Adjunct and Visiting Faculty. There are also many supporting members of the War College Ministry including the Board of References, Divisional and Territorial leaders.

Campus Directors

Envoys Josh & Jennifer Polanco were grafted into the Salvation Army early 2002 after pioneering a work among at risk youth in the city of Blue Island, IL. Since then, Josh served as Divisional Director for youth outreach, and discipleship and Jen within the Program Dept.  They currently serve as Corps administrators of the Mt. Greenwood Corps in Chicago’s Southside.

Jonathan Evans is a multiplying pioneer of cells and outposts who, with his wife Carla and a team of zealots, helps lead 614 Vancouver and The War College. A gifted teacher and shepherd, Jonathan teaches, disciples and leads – while also coordinating the War College Phase 2 program and ASALTS accredidation process.

Captains Strickland & Court (TWC Founders) invest in several initiatives to help win the world for Jesus, including MMCCXX, a plot to see new outposts in 2,000 cities in 200 countries in 20 years, BE A HERO Campaign to raise up 10,000 heroes for children-at-risk, armybarmy.com, Journal of Aggressive Christianity, books and CDs.

WC StaffCaptains Cassandra & Thom Moffitt (Co’s Joilet, IL), have a zeal for incarnate – primitive – soul-saving – in the gutter ministry where being a reflection of God’s heart is their call for action. Thom is passionate about teaching, Cassandra believes in the power of Christ to change lives, and through faith brings His healing to the low in spirit.
